Granite Cleaning and Refinishing

This is common in commercial elevators, Black granite (Absolute black) that gets completely worn and just always look dull and dirty. We were able to clean and provide a simple polish to bring the shine and color back. The customers opted for clean and polish only at this time.

Sometime a textured, brushed or flamed Granite doesn’t even look that dirty until you start cleaning it, then it becomes evident there is different color granite under all that soil. This is often due to maintenance crew that use mops and instead of cleaning so much, they’re distribute the soils throughout the floor. This often leads to tracking the soils further into the building adding further to the maintenance costs or premature floor replacement costs.

This is the main sign for Magnolia Plantation, they called us because the sign had major mineral deposits, as well as other different residues on the surface. The majority of the minerals on the sign had to be removed with carbide precision tools. Lighter mineral deposits and everything else was removed with a special granite polishing powder. Since the sign is constantly getting wet from the irrigation, we used a penetrating solvent sealer in order to help the longevity of the finish.
