Terrazzo

Terrazzo floors can be repaired and brought to a beautiful high polish finish. Terrazzo floors often require additional knowledge to restore, often due to their age. Some floors we restore are 50-60 years old, and they have stains and repairs that need special attention. Stains often require special treatments, and sometimes they can not be fully removed. Repairs included large holes from pulling up old carpet tack boards or even nail heads sticking out. Do not pull out nails, as they will leave a large crater that will need to be filled. Instead we used hand grinders and grind the nail head flush with the terrazzo. After the repairs and stain treatments, Terrazzo can be cleaned, diamond honed, polished and sealed to a hi polish finish. Terrazzo floors are a great floor for ease of maintenance because there is no grout lines for soil to hide.
